		<description>I don&#039;t usually comment on blogs, but these scones are AMAZING!  And they saved my life this morning because I had to make something delicious and breakfast-like in a hurry!  I added raisins and pecans to half of the mix and chocolate chunks and cinnamon to the other half.  Both products received rave reviews!  Thank you thank you thank you!</description>

I thought I recognized those scones!  You are right, Maple Butter is the best (also, the reason for pancakes is real maple syrup).

The scone recipe was actually given to us by a Montclair Group called the Friends of Barnett (a Montclair sister city in the UK).

One of theses days you will have to take some of my sourdough starter - - - it is now 8 years old!  Feeds on good water and flour once a week and makes great pancakes and works well  (with some effort) in breads.
