Your pretzels look great...but nothing like the ones from the guy on Front Street selling them when you get off 95.

20 years ago I tried to make pizza dough and had difficult time with getting my dough to rise. Now that I'm a bit older and wiser, maybe I'll have better luck.

Agreed - no mustard.

I once had a Pretzel from around Univ of Penn and the guy had a grill and heated it for me. Amazing. I never forgot that one.

I'm 1 hour 45 minutes from Philly. I have my last frozen pretzel in the freezer. I think I'm going to try to make some myself. What fun.

Thanks for posting.

Pete,
Your pretzels look good for a first try. I just mastered making the perfect pizza circle, after like 100 tries, so don't feel bad man. I'm sure they taste exceptional. As a pastry chef I realize that most people focus on presentation and that's ok, but it has to taste as good as it looks. Also, I love spicy brown mustard on my pretzels all day!!!! Sorry (no I'm not)! Congratulations and keep up the great work, your website is awesome man.

Mmm, pretzels! I've never been anywhere that sells street pretzels, so I make do with ones at basketball games. Then one day I made my own and that was great!

Hey Pete,

Your pretzels look pretty darned good. I tried the recipe a few weeks ago, and while they tasted great, they looked more like something the neighbor's dog left in the yard. We ate them anyway - with mustard. "-)
